Auto AC Grid Panel

This product is an auto air conditioning ventilation grid made by Meike auto parts, it is made of PP resin with injection moulding process, PP resin is polypropylene, it is a non-toxic, odorless, tasteless high crystallization polymer. It has good chemical resistance, heat resistance, electrical insulation, high strength mechanical properties and good wear resistance.

Key points/difficulty of the mould design：

Injection point design. The grid is a visible part, which has high standard of surface apearance, while due to the structure, such as the grid design, makes the melted resin has poor flowing, it is crucial to effectively design the injection system, so as to control the locations of the paring lines. 

Ejection system design. In order to avoid the parting lines locate on the visible surface, the gate is located on the side of the ejection block, which increases the difficulty in designing of the system. While the design of the ejection system can affect the moulding quality of the product, if the design is nor appropriate, it may lead to such defects as warping, cracks and ejection marks. 

Cooling system design. The thickness difference on the part is big, and the ribs are small and deep, and of high precision, which makes the mould structure is complicated, it is another key point to effectively control the shape of the product with the cooling system.
